APPT Melbourne: A field of 98 players on Day 1A

Mythical live poker tournament in Oceania and the Pacific, the Asia Pacific Poker Tour is now in its Season VI. Since Thursday, August 30, the Crown Casino in Melbourne, Australia hosts the Main Event of the APPT Melbourne. 98 players paid the $ 5,000 buy-in on the first day of entry, but after seven levels of play, there were only 65 survivors for the Day 2. Brendon Rubie is the leading temporarily the field with a stack of 103,575 chips. And Rubie is a well known gambler in Australia judging from his record. Mitch Carle, Oliver Gill, Julius Colman, Ricky Kroesen and Tim English also qualified for the Day 2. The Day 1B began on Friday afternoon and survivors will join the 65 qualified during the Day 1A.
