WSOP Europe: A High Roller tournament 50,000 in the program
The next edition of the World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE) which will take place in Cannes for the second time promises to be a great festival of poker. Indeed, as it was announced several months ago, the event will have an ultimately rich program. There will be seven tournaments enabling players to win the famous gold bracelet and 69 side event tournaments. Cash game tables will be also available in the poker room throughout the two weeks of competition, what could really satisfy poker aficionados. And on Tuesday, August 21, the organizers have just communicated two major news always about the tournament.
In order to satisfy great players who will come on the French Riviera, a High Roller tournament with 50,000 re-entry format will be also held during the WSOPE 2012. The start of the tournament will take place on October 2 and will run for three days. Already, the organizers have confirmed the presence of Richard Yong and Paul Phua, two Asian businessmen who really like such game. It is certain that many professionals of the game will take part in this tournament even though it will not be rewarded by a bracelet. The second news is the Main event. To the delight of European gamblers, the tournament final will be broadcast live on Eurosport. Thus, 150 million households will enjoy the performance of skilled players and could also attend the trophy ceremony. Comments will be available in 20 different languages.
