EPT Barcelona: 61 survivors after the Day 3, Antonin Duda leads
The European Poker Tour Barcelona welcomed on Wednesday the 207 survivors of the Day 2 to designate the remaining sixty players to continue the adventure in Barcelona. After five levels of play, the bubble burst for the ITM and the first eliminated player from the remaining 160 left with a gain of 8,400. Aliaksei Boika is the bubble boy for having failed at to enter in the cashes. Eliminations succeeded after that and at the end of the day, only 61 players had their tickets for the Day 4. Antonin Duda is on top of the chip counts with a well stocked stack of 1.47 million chips.
Besides Antonin Duda, other players like John Juanda, Ilari Sahamies, Aku Joentausta, Fatima Moreira de Melo, Zimnan Ziyard, Marcos Fernandez and Felix Kretchmann are very well placed to an EPT title and the gain of 1,007,550. About French players, we retain the presence of Lucille Cailly, Ilan Boujenah, Alain Roy, Régis Burlot and Dmitry Vitkind. About eliminated players, the poker room of Gran Casino Barcelona regretted the departure of João Nunes, Angel Guillen, Henrique Pinho, Daniel Negreanu, Ana Marquez, Juan Manuel Pastor, Jake Cody, Sebastian Ruthenberg, Elizabeth Hille, Barry Greenstein, Ronnie Bardah, Saar Wilf, Sam Holden and Theo Jorgensen. The Gran Casino hosted this Thursday at noon the Day 4 of the Main Event of the EPT Barcelona. The challenge of the day is to define the 24 players qualified for the Day 5.
