EPT: The title of the Super High Roller Barcelona to Dan Smith
The first High Roller tournament of the European Poker Tour (EPT) Season 9 named its winner. Organized under the EPT Barcelona, the event of 50,000 buy-in crowned Dan Smith. Since the beginning of the year, this young American player continued to show his talent for poker. So he continues his ascent. It should be mentioned that until here, he already won the tournament title of the $ 100,000 Aussie Millions 2012 which allowed him to pocket one million dollars. He also won the victory in three side event tournaments of 5,000 buy-in organized within the framework of the grand final of the EPT Monte Carlo and his third place at the World Series Of Poker 2012 also reflects this regularity. This new trophy in the Super High Roller allowed him to add in his bank account 962,925. He now has over three million dollars in earnings.
Note that Dan Smith had just triumphed over an important field on Sunday. He managed to win in front of formidable opponents such as Mike McDonald and the Mexican JC Alvarado. At the end of the meeting, the Mexican merely deserved the place runner-up and pocketed a gain of 788,674. As for McDonald, he finished 5 th. The third spot returned to the Canadian Mike Watson. Ilari Sahamies, Erik Seidel, Talal Shakerchi and Jim McCrink respectively occupy the 4th, 6th, 7th and 8 th place. As a reminder, the tournament attracted 55 participants generating a prize pool of 3,072,960.
