Scam: Matt Marafioti on the dock

The Canadian poker pro Matt Marafioti is the target of many poker enthusiasts active on the U.S. forum TwoPlusTwo these days. He is mostly accused of computer scam. His accomplice is none other than the Swedish player named Samer Rahman. The charges were unveiled by an anonymous participant who published the exact transcript of conversation between the two players on Skype. He conversation between the two players plan to hack the computer of Will Molson to let Marafioti be able to view his opponent's hole cards and win easily the victory.

Before such an accusation, Rahman and Marafioti tried to defend themselves. But it turns out that the two players have two quite contradictory explanations. If Marafioti was referring to an "arranged" conversation before being published, Rahman categorically denied having a friendship with Marafioti. Unfortunately for him, the forum members posted photos of the two poker players together, which proves that they get known together. And what even make Marafioti in trouble is the series of tweets he sent to William Reynolds that he posted. It turns out that he confessed half his combine with Rahman. A priori, the career of Marafioti in online poker is menaced. In addition, it seems that Rahman has been already involved in such kind of scam in 2007. He was a friend of Mohamed Kowssarie, a Swedish player who has been accused of scamming Patrick Antonius and Johnny Lodden.
