Charity: The Vincent Lecavalier Texas Hold'Em Celebrity tournament in its 6th edition
The sixth edition of the poker tournament Vincent Lecavalier Texas Hold'Em Celebrity will take place on September 16 at Trepin's Hospitality Centre in Tampa. Once again, it's an opportunity to play poker for a good cause. Indeed, the benefits obtained by this charity tournament will be awarded to the Department of paediatric cancer and blood disorders center Vincent Lecavalier. The entry fee for guests at this tournament will be $ 500. As for spectators, the participation in the event is $ 400. Note that various events will take place during the evening as auctions and cocktails which will brighten generous participants who do not participate in the tournament. According to information released by the organizers, more than 25 celebrities are invited to take part in the tournament which starts from 8:15 pm and Dick Vitale will be the special guest.
About the progress of the tournament, players will have unlimited rebuys, which is an appropriate way to raise more money. As it's an event for charity, no amount of money is at stake but the best players will not leave empty handed. Thus, the first two finalists will receive an invitation to participate in a tournament with $ 50,000 prize pool in an online poker room. This is a tournament held one week after the charity event.
