WPT Parx Open Classic: Won by Anthony Gregg
The final table of the World Poker Tour Parx Open Classic Philadelphia unveiled its results. Player with the second biggest stack at the start of the competition, Tony Gregg won the victory and pocketed thanks to his performance a bonus amounting $ 416,127 including a package worth $ 25,500 for the WPT World championship. This is one of the greatest achievements made by this American in his career as a poker player. He tried for a long time to earn a spot at the top of the podium. But he had to settle for the second place in the PCA 2009 and a 6th place in 2012, a place of bronze at the high roller of the European Poker Tour Monte Carlo 2012 and a fourth in the six-handed tournament of $ 2,500 buy-in of the World Series of Poker.
Finally, Gregg realized his dream after having been patient and persistent. He also faced real poker pros in the final. Note that Gregg was fairly quiet. However, he still managed to remove the favorite of the final table who was the chipleader Stephan Reynolds during the final duel. It was a very successful performance praised by the famous swimmer who won another Olympic medal, Michael Phelps. As runner up, Reynolds pocketed a prize of $ 244,877. The third place went to Chris Lee. Larry Sharp, Chris Vandeursen and Andre Nyffeler respectively occupy the 4 th, 5 th and 6th place.
