Last weekend, players from the four corners of France met in Deauville to attend the seventh stop on the Barrière Poker Tour (BPT) circuit, stop after that of Enghien-Les-Bains, which was held last month. The success was especially registered during the 1,500 entry fee Main Event because the organizers registered a total field of 172 participants. The event ended with the coronation of John Montury. The native of Toulouse was the best during this meeting and ousted Brice Bourgeix during the final heads'up. So he comes to realize the greatest achievement of his career. With this victory, Montury also pocketed the prize of 18,300. And as eight other competitors in this tournament, he was entitled to a package for the Main Event of the World Series of Poker Europe Cannes (WSOPE) amounting 12,000.
Apart from his gain and the famous package, the BPT Deauville champion 2012 and his runner-up were selected to participate in the Barrière Poker Player 2012 Casting, which is an enormous privilege.
