Atlantic City: Caesars paid a record Bad Beat jackpot
Caesars Entertainment registered a record Bad Beat Jackpot during the evening of Monday, August 13, 2012. The event took place in its casino in Atlantic City, the city located in New Jersey on the East Coast of the United States, which attracts many poker enthusiasts. During the evening, they were 411 players who joined the poker room of Caesars. Narong Sae Whited was present and its seems that it was his lucky day because he earned a bonus of $ 237,154 not because he won the tournament but for a Bad Beat. As a reminder, a bad beat jackpot is offered in the case if a player having a winning combination lost face to a player with a much stronger hand.
The first Bad Beat was held on August 24, 2010. Note that to get this big bonus, the player should at least have a square of kings. During the evening, which was held at Caesars casino, Narong Sae Whited who was in possession of a losing hand had a square of nine. He was therefore entitled to the largest reward. In the other side, Nick Angelakopoulos had a flush to the king and received 20% of the jackpot amounting $ 158,422. The 409 other players present on the gaming tables when the Bad Beat occurred, were also eligible for the jackpot and pocketed $ 958 each. In total, therefore, the casino paid a sum of $ 787,320.
