Partouche Poker Tour: The Summer Sat of Arcachon from August 3 to 5
The new season of the Partouche Poker Tour is effectively underway with the first Summer Sat which was organized in Pleneuf Val-Andre last week. This weekend, the Partouche Poker Tour Season 5 will stop in the Landes de Gascogne in a prestigious institution: the Partouche Casino of Arcachon. This second major event of poker enthusiasts in France is planned next weekend. The Partouche casino is located in Deganne castle since 1903, an exceptional setting situated in a resort that allows guests to enjoy their stay at sea through various marine activities. The PPT offers in this idyllic setting for a weekend entirely dedicated to poker but players can still provide a swimsuit in case of early elimination. Nevertheless, a Side-Event of 250 buy-in is held on Saturday for those less fortunate to qualify for the Main Event satellites of 170 buy-in held the day before.
The main attraction in this stage of the PPT 2012 is the Main Event "Summer Satellite" to be held for two days. The entry fee for this event is 1,250. Unlike other poker events, the prize pool of the Main Event will be paid in tickets to attend the grand final of the Partouche Poker Tour Cannes. After Arcachon, the Summer Sat will be organized in Juan Les Pins (11-12 August), La Grande Motte (August 17-19) and Saint-Armand-les-Eaux (August 24-26).
