BPT Deauville: The appointment of this August
From August 10 to 12, The Barriere Poker Tour 2012 will stop in Deauville. The Casino Barrière of Deauville will host the seventh stage of the BPT 2012 during which many tournaments and satellites were planned. The highlight of this poker stage remains the 1,500 Main Event buy-in guaranteeing a prize pool of 120,000. The main event will be held from Saturday, August 11 and the five best players could win packages worth 12,000 per unit for the World Series of Poker Europe 2012 in Cannes. Players in the ITM, 15% of participants will share a prize pool of 60,000.
Besides the main event, many side events and satellites will be held during these three days. On Friday, August 10, satellite tournaments will be organized to enable participants to qualify for the Main Event and the Deepstack of 550 buy-in with a respective entrance fee of 250 and 65. Other SuperSat are also planned in the program. On Saturday, August 11 will be the start of the Main Event of the BPT Deauville and the Turbo Sat for the 120 Ladies Event, the Sat for the Ladies Event of the WSOPE with an entrance fee of 40 and 120 and the Eiffel Tower of 300 of entrance fee. Besides the Day 2 of the Main Event and the Eiffel Tower, on Sunday, qualified players for the Deepstack tournament will compete.
