EPT Season 9: Digital watches as new prizes
The new season of the European Poker Tour will begin in mid-August and the organizers planned many new events in the program. Besides the program itself, the EPT Season 9 provides a novelty that would raise the enthusiasm of fans of live poker tournament. Indeed, a new award will be offered in the eight steps of the EPT Season 9: a watch. The organizers swapped the traditional gold bracelet of the tournament for something new, luxurious and useful. This change is also due to the change of sponsor. The Season 8 was sponsored by Shamballa Jewels during which the bracelet inlaid with ceramic balls, white gold balls, pink gold ball and a diamond paved valued at 10,000.
This season, the EPT is sponsored by HD3, a famous Swiss watchmaker, which proposed the Black and Steel Slyde for the six winners of the Main Event. These digital watches with a unit value of 5,840 will be replaced by a Black and Rose Gold worth 9,000 in the final. To return to the tournament, note that each stage of the EPT Season 9 will have around forty tournaments with moderate buy-in for some and high rollers for others without forgetting the Main Event. Barcelona will open the new season from August 15 until 25, 2012. The season continues with the stage of San Remo (October 3-11, 2012), Prague (December 5-15, 2012), the PCA (January 6-15, 2013), Deauville (January 30 to February 9, 2013), London (6 -16 March 2013), Berlin (April 24 to May 4, 2013) and ends with a visit to the poker room of Monte Carlo (6-15 May 2013).
