IPT San Remo: Faure as chipleader of Day 1A
The Season IV of the Italian Poker Tour (IPT) continues its course with a stop in San Remo in the sumptuous Municipal Casino of San Remo. The 2,200 buy-in Main Event of the IPT San Remo will host over 500 players as estimated by the organizers. The previous stage of the IPT in that city brought together 418 players. At the opening of the Day 1A, many local players as Gianluca Speranza, Vincenzo Natale, Bendinelli Giuliano, Antonio Volpicelli, Rocco Palumbo, Sergio Castelluccio, Mario Perati, Filippo Voconi, Vincenzo Scarpitti, Luca Faslaschi, Sebastiano Ventoso, Daniele Mazzia or Gianluca Mattia attended it and gathered in total a field of 120 players generating a prizepool of 232,800. But after a few hours of play, nine 60-minute levels to be more precise, more than half of the field was eliminated.
After the starting of the first day of the IPT, the French Olivier Faure is the chipleader with a stack of 154,800 chips. Among the 51 players who survived after the day, Muhamet Perati (151,000), Jacqueline Cachia (115,500), Jacopo Montesano (112,500), Andrea Lo Cicero (94,900), Gianpaolo Eramo (92,500), Filippo Voconi (84,700), Nicolo Allisiardi (83,900 ), Michael Segui (81,900) and Vincenzo Scarpitti (80,900) managed to climb into the top 10 of this poker tournament on Day 2. Other players like Rocco Palumbo, Sergio Castelluccio, Daniele Mazzia, Sandra Naujoks also qualified for he Day 2 planned for Saturday, July 28. The Day 1B should host over 250 players to double the prize pool.
