BPT Enghien-les-Bains: David Jaoui won face to 220 participants
Last weekend, the Barriere Casino of Enghien-les-Bains hosted the sixth stage of the famous French circuit Barrière Poker Tour (BPT). During this stage of the Paris region, over 220 players registered and paid the 1,500 entry fee for the Main Event. This number of participation marks a record crowd of the BPT from its inception because apart from the BPT final, any stage hasn't attracted so many people. After two days of fierce competition, it's David Jaoui who won the event after a battle with Willy Korchia and Laurent Polito.
The elimination of Laurent Polito helped Willy Korchia and David Jaoui to access in the head's up to define the winner. One hand was enough for both players to decide. Korchia who made an all-in was paid by Jaoui. Willy Korchia lost all his chips and offered by this the sudden victory to David Jaoui. Korchia occupied then the place as runner-up while the winner of the stage of the BPT Enghien-les-Bains took home 34,000 with 12,000 package for the Main Event of the World Series of Poker Europe to be held in Cannes in September. Note that the ten best players in the tournament also received the same endowment. Apart from David Jaoui and Willy Korchia, WSOPE packages were also awarded to Denis Le Coz, Jean-Marc Pouyau, Karim Ahras, Vacher Thibault, Stéphane Girault, Yann Migeon, Cyril Desautard and Laurent Polito. Note that 27 players were in the money at the BPT Enghien-les-Bains.
