GPI rankings: Vanessa Selbst ascend at the third place
Almost all poker rankings registered significant changes following the results of the World Series of Poker (WSOP), which is the case of the Global Poker Index. While the first two places in the list are still occupied by Jason Mercier, holder of 2,847.86 points and Bertrand Grospellier who own 2,738.21 points, the third place is now awarded to Vanessa Selbst, a well-deserved ascent. Indeed, she really did a good course at the world championships of poker as she recorded five cashes, a place in the final and a win in the Event 52.
Other players have also registered good climbing. In this context, there is the case of Tristan Clémençon who is currently in the 22 th place. Samuel Stein also won 16 seats and is in the 29 th place. Olivier Busquet is in the 45 th position which means a gain of 20 seats. We should also mention the progress of David Baker who temporarily holds the title of Player of The Year. He went from the 67 th place to the 47 th. Joe Serock, Jason Koon and Isaac Baron also improved their positions in the ranking. As for Phil Ivey, his recent results at the WSOP allowed him to approach the top 100. Regarding the members of the top 10, we find Steve O'Dwyer in the 4 th position, Marvin Rettenmaier 5th, Eugene Katchalov 6 th, Erik Seidel 7th, Andrew Lichtenberger 8th, Jonathan Duhamel 9th and Mike McDonald 10 th.
