European Poker Tour: Improved structures for next season
The Season 9 of the European Poker Tour (EPT) will begin in August in Barcelona. The organizers of this great poker circuit decided to make some changes to make the season more interesting. The EPT 9 will be an opportunity to play poker with nice structures. The starting stacks will be generally 30,000 chips. In the other side, the game levels will experience a slight modification. Indeed, the duration of each level of play will last 75 minutes during the first 14 rounds and 90 minutes during the rest of the competition. Many fans enjoyed this modification.
Players used to participate in the High Roller and Super High Roller tournament will also be satisfied because improvements were also made at these types of tournaments. There is the change in the structure mentioned above, the acceptance of late registrations and the adoption of unlimited re-entry format. In this context, it is important to mention that during the Super High Roller of 50,000 which is held during the EPT Barcelona, players will receive an unlimited rebuys until the start of the second day of competition. As it was announced a few months ago, the number of steps in the season 9 of the EPT has been reduced. However, the quality will be emphasized. In addition, players will be satisfied because each step will become a great poker festival which will last ten days. Thus, during the next season, players will gather in Barcelona, San Remo, the Bahamas, in Deauville, London, Berlin and Monaco.
