Prague Poker Festival: A promising edition 2012
Living It Loving It, organizers of the Prague Poker Festival unveiled last Monday, July 9 the schedule of the event for this year 2012. As a reminder, the name of Prague Poker Festival was created by the fact that every December, three major poker tournaments take place in this town, a stage of the World Poker Tour (WPT), a stage of the Grand Series of Poker (GSOP) and a step of the European Poker Tour. This year's festival will run from November 26 to December 16. For now, the holding of the EPT Prague is not yet confirmed. Indeed, everyone should wait August 1st to know if the EPT Prague will effectively take place in December 9 to 15 at Hilton Prague. Note that it's the Corinthia Hotel which will receive the WPT and the GSOP.
In all cases, the capital of the Czech Republic will bring together thousands of poker players during the festival. Last year, they were 2,000 fans who joined the city to compete for the titles of the 35 tournaments organized during the festival. This year, organizers hope to recognize a record crowd of around 3,000 participants. Pleasure and satisfaction will certainly wait players there. Moreover, it seems that the Prague Mindsport Festival will be also held on September 29 to December 4. Competitions of bridge, scrabble or backagammon that are all classified as mind sports will be in the program during the festival, which will allow players to vary pleasure during their stay.
