WSOP 2-7 Lowball: The gold bracelet and $ 101,975 for Larry Wright

The Event # 30 of the World Series of Poker, the 2-7 Lowball of $ 1,500 buy-in was attended by a field of 285 players and generated a prize pool of $ 384,750 to be shared to the thirty first players who enter in the money. At the end of Day 1, Michael Mizrachi took control with a stack of 86,025 chips on the 66 survivors of the Day 2. Mizrachi gave way to Erick Lindgren in the place of chipleader at the end of the day. Both were qualified for the final table alongside Andrew Lichtenberger, Larry Wright, Erick Lindgren, Rep Porter, Ryan Tepen and Brandon Cantu. Among the players who did not survive the first two days, there were among others Phil Ivey, Phil Hellmuth, Dan Smith, Greg Raymer, Andy Frankenberger, Daniel Negreanu, Vincent van der Fluit, Liv Boeree, David Sklansky, Leo Margets , Bryan Devonshire, Scott Fishman and Ted Forrest.

The final head's up was played between Larry Wright and Brandon Cantu who after a few hands gave up the victory to Wright. For his victory at the WSOP Event # 30, Larry Wright pocketed $ 101,975 and the gold bracelet designed for the winner. Brandon Cantu left for his part the tournament with a gain of $ 63,048 for his runner up place. Andrew Lichtenberger was eliminated at the last step of the podium and settled for a gain of $ 41,445. In the fourth place, we find Michael Mizrachi ($ 28,198) followed by Erick Lindgren ($ 19,676), Rep. Porter ($ 14,078), Ryan Tepen ($ 10,318) and John Phan ($ 7,748).
