Barrière Poker Tour: The step of Toulouse for this weekend
Appointment highly anticipated by poker enthusiasts, the Barrière Poker Tour (BPT) will begin its Toulouse stage this weekend in the poker room of Casino Théâtre Barrière. Although the event takes place simultaneously with the World Series of Poker (WSOP), some thousand miles from each other, however, the organizers hope to collect a satisfactory field. In addition, poker enthusiasts are well aware that this stage of the BPT may help them to secure a place for the famous main event of the WSOP Europe in Cannes, which will be held this fall. The tournament's main event in Toulouse is open for a buy-in of 1,500. The estimated prize pool amounted 120,000, enough to brighten up the best players in the game. In anyway, the winner is sure to leave at least with the package of 12,000 for the tournament in Cannes.
Besides the Main event, players who will travel to Toulouse to take part in the tournament will also be entitled to various side events. There are the ladies tournament, the Eiffel Tower tournament open for 300 entry fee, the Hyper Turbo Knock Out of 40 + 20 + 15 with unlimited rebuy and the Deepstack tournament of 550. The thing that will make even more attractive this weekend of poker, is that many cash games and Sit & Go tournaments will be also available there. Finally, we should also mention the organizing of various satellite tournaments qualifiers. There will be those organized for the main event, the Deepstack tournament, the WSOP Europe Ladies tournament and the Ladies tournament of 120 for the BPT Toulouse.
