Women in Poker Hall of Fame: The 10 nominees announced
The Women in Poker Hall of Fame is an institution created to showcase and reward women who contributed greatly to the development of the poker industry. Each year, new members are welcomed into the institution after a severe selection. The 10 nominees of this year, made up of female poker players and VIPs in the poker industry are now available to the public. Note that the vote will run until June 20 and the induction ceremony for new recruits will take place during a dinner to be held at Golden Nugget in Las Vegas on August 31, 2012. Among the candidates to be elected are therefore Debbie Burkhead, poker player and director of sales of the magazine Poker Player Newspaper, Victoria Coren who won the title of European Champion of Poker in 2006 and Annie Duke who has a World Series of Poker bracelet, known as poker book author and teacher.
Dabra Giardina is also part of the competitors. She is known for her contribution in the development of online poker in Jacksonville. We must also refer Jjliu who currently has nine WSOP cashes and several other awards, Isabel Mercier who won the title of World Poker Tour Ladies Night and responsible for an online poker room in France, Kathy Raymond, who is a great poker face in the Foxwood Casino in Connecticut in the USA, who created Bonnie Leinhos Classix Desert Poker and Four Queens Poker Classic, Karina Jett winner of He Said, She Said-Poker after Dark VI.
