WSOP 2012: Brent Hanks wins the Event 2
After its mediated launching, the World Series of Poker already distributed their second bracelet. Indeed, the Event 2, a No Limit Hold'em of $ 1,500 had just crowned the American of 29 years, Brent Hanks, to have been the one who managed to keep his stack till the end. Hanks was able to oust Jacob Bazeley during the final duel, which enabled him to win the largest share of the prize pool totaling $ 517,725. His runner up pocketed the second prize of $ 322,294. The Event 3, a Heads-Up No-Limit Hold'em / Pot-Limit Omaha of $ 3,000 will also end in a few hours. This tournament attracted 317 players and now it remains only 64 in the race. The French Guillaume Darcourt is one of those survivors. Regarding the Event 4, a Seven Card Stud Hi-Low 8-or-Better of $ 1,500, the field was composed of 622 participants most of whom are professionals.
