ISPT: The date of the competition and the detailed program confirmed
The International Poker Tour Stadiums (ISPT) became a big topic of conversation in the poker world for some time now. As a reminder, it's a tournament founded by Laurent Tapie and Bernard Tapie with the help of Prosper Masquelier and promises to be a very big event. Since the project was made public, rumors circulated regarding the date and the concept of the tournament. Finally, the organizers provided accurate information about it. Thus, as it was announced a few days ago, the first edition of the ISPT will be held in May 2013. To be more precise, it will begin on May 30 and will end on June 6. The original concept is retained, that is to say, the event will take place as it was planned in the vast Wembley Stadium in London.
The ISPT 2013 will be spread over eight days of competition. The first part which is scheduled to last two days is an online tournament. The estimated 30,000 participants that will take part in the kickoff of the event will play poker from an electronic pad and special software. The field will shrink to 3,000 players at the end of these two first qualifying days and then, they will be placed on tables placed on real grass. These competitors vying 3000 are each entitled to a share of the prize pool. But, $ 17.5 million will be distributed to the top 10 players and the winner will go home away with the lion's share of $ 10 million.
