WPT National Series: Cannes as destination this week
After a stop in St. Vincent in Italy, the World Poker Tour National Series will stop in Cannes from May 31 to June 3rd. The Casino Barrière La Croisette will host this year's WPT National Series. The tour travels European and French cities, and after stops in Paris, it's now the turn of the city of cinema to unroll the red carpet to receive this prestigious adjunct tournament of the World Poker Tour. This event takes place just after the 65th Cannes Film Festival, a legendary event, which takes place every year at La Croisette. The main event of the WPT National Series Cannes will begin this Thursday, May 31 with the Day 1A and will end on Sunday, June 3rd with the Day 3 and the final table. Participants should pay a buy-in of 1,650 to play poker at this great event on the Côte d'Azur.
Since Tuesday, the Casino Barrière La Croisette hosted satellites of 200 entry for the Main Event. With the formula re-entry, the Main Event of the WPT National Series will attract many poker enthusiasts. In terms of structure, the main event will be based on levels of an hour during which participants will begin with a stack of 20,000 chips. Besides the main event, many side events are part of the program to let everyone enjoy this poker stay : a Bounty of 230, the ACF Poker Tour of 750 and the 330 WPT.fr.
