WSOPC New Orleans: Justin Wainscott leads for the final day
At the start of the Main event of $ 1,600 entry fee of the World Series of Poker Circuit Harrah's New Orleans (WSOPC), 649 players were registered. The tournament reached thus a huge success as during the previous edition, it brought together a field of 260 participants, an increase of attendance of over 200%. The prize pool gathered totaled $ 1,008,770. Several regulars of renowned poker tour attended the edition 2012, a part of which has already been eliminated at the end of the second day of competition as Kurt Jewell, Mike Wolf, John Dolan, Huy Nguyen, Chris Conrad, La Sengphet, Matthew Hankins and Sam Barnhart. Note that the tournament reached its final day and there are only 72 players left.
These competitors will have to show that they know how to play poker in order to qualify for the final table. Indeed, the issue of this tournament is important because the winner will walk away with a big bonus of $ 204,748, a gold bracelet and a place for the National Championship. Having collected 732,000 chips, Justin Wainscott is the chipleader at the moment. Professionals such as Darvin Moon, David Fox, Tom Franklin, Matt Chang and Daniel Lowery are still among the competitors, making the battle even more difficult for the chip leader, without forgetting that members of the top 10 to name Tim Burt and Richard Kelley, who are respectively in the 2nd and 3rd position are formidable opponents that could destroy his dream of victory.
