Macau Poker Cup: Another visit in the Grand Waldo from June 9
Place that marked the development of the Asian poker industry, the Grand Waldo Hotel and Casino will have the privilege of hosting a stage of the Macau Poker Cup 2012 during the Red Dragon tournament, a series to be held from June 9 to 18. As a reminder, the Grand Waldo hosted in 2008 the Asia Pacific Poker Tour, the largest poker tournament in Asia. From 2009, the organizers signed a contract with the Casino Grand Lisboa. Since then, all tournaments were held within this casino. But the contract expired since March of this year. And the organizers decided to choose the Grand Waldo to host the tournament especially since it has all the necessary infrastructure to host large poker event. Indeed, the resort has undergone extensive renovation.
The competition will take place at the heart of the Conference and Exhibition Centre. Players who will take part in the event will also enjoy all the leisure activities offered by the Grand Waldo Hotel. Note that the Red Dragon 2012 will consist of several tournaments expected to satisfy all fans of poker among which is the Main event of $ 11,000 buy-in with a guaranteed prize pool of $ HKD 3 million. Tournament organizers also confirmed that the Macau Poker Cup Championship of Asia and Asia Championship will be held respectively as planned in September and November. But before these two major events, another Red Dragon will be held from July 28 to August 6.
