WSOP Circuit: Kick off of the New Orleans stage
Since May 10 until May 21, 2012, the poker room of Harrah's Casino in New Orleans welcomes a new stage of the famous poker tour World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOPC). As a reminder, 12 rounds of the tournaments are held prior to the National Championship to be held during the WSOP 2012 at Rio in Las Vegas on July 6. The WSOPC Harrah's New Orleans include several tournaments with varied buy-in and formats during which the best players will win gold bracelets. The main event at $ 1,600 buy-in is one of the highlights of the tournament. Last year, it attracted 383 players generating a prize pool of $ 550,080. This year the tournament will start on May 18, 2012 and will be spread over four days of competition. The one who will succeed to Jonathan Poche will walk away with the first prize and some points that will let him occupy the best position in the Player of the Year standings.
As inaugural tournament, there will be the No-Limit Hold'em Re-entry that will begin on May 12. This tournament is available at a buy-in of $ 355 and will be played in three days. Several No-Limit Hold'em tournaments available at $ 355 buy-in be will also in the program. For fans of Pot Limit Omaha, they will be satisfied as a tournament designed for them will be held on May 13. On May 16, 2012, a no-limit hold'em of $ 1,085 awaits players. And to end this stage of the WSOPC, there will be a No-Limit Hold'em Turbo.
