France Poker Series: Nevzat Kaya leads in Amnéville
If Amnéville didn't had the privilege of hosting a stage of the famous World Poker Tour, the city remains a great poker destination. Indeed, at present time, the fourth stage of the second season of the tournament France Poker Series (FPS) takes place in Seven Casino Amneville. Moreover, the battle has already started on the 1,100 buy-in main event. As usual, the event attracted a large number of poker enthusiasts and they were 109 players who registered for the first qualifying day. After 11 levels of play, more than half of the field disappeared.
At the end of Day 1A, it's Nezat Kaya who was awarded the position of chipleader. He accumulated 154,900 chips. Jean Francois Azoril also won his ticket for the Day 2, finishing second in chips with a stack of 136,000. Philippe Laronze is in the third place with 114,900 chips in hand. Among the survivors of Day 1A is also Fabrice Gourget who holds about 80,000 chips. Nicolas Lambert was also among the well known players present at the tournament. But he finished the day with a small stack of 44,300. The tournament field could increase. Indeed, many players are still expected to participate in the Day 1B. Note that apart from the Main event, several side events are also part of the FPS Amnéville program. Among the most anticipated of all are the PLO 6-Max and the High Roller.
