European Poker Tour: Come back of the tour in Deauville
The European Poker Tour is one of the most prestigious poker tournaments that crisscross Europe. For the next three years, organizers have chosen the new Casino of Deauville to receive the French stage of the EPT. The city of Deauville will be from January 30 to February 9, 2013 the European capital of poker alongside Barcelona, San Remo, Prague, London, Berlin and Monte Carlo, the main steps of the European Poker Tour. The international fame and prestige of a city is essential for a tournament to let players feel at their ease. To this end, the choice of Deauville is justified because the city is known worldwide by the casino of Barrière Group and the American film festival that take place there every year. The group Barriere is as reminder recognized in premium activities such as casinos, hotels, spa, restaurant and also golf.
Indeed, Deauville has a high international profile by the charm and chic image reflected by the city. Alongside its lavish hotel-casino, the city is characterized by a resort where attendance is similar to that of St Tropez and especially its elegant shops Ralph Lauren, Hermes, Armani and Louis Vuitton. The EPT trust again Deauville, a chance that the city of Amnéville did not have after the decision taken by the World Poker Tour to not renew its contract. Only the city of Paris will enter in the calendar of the Season XI of the World Poker Tour.
