WPT Season XI: The first stage will take place in Cyprus

Two weeks approximately before the grand finale of the tenth edition of the World Poker Tour (WPT) to be held at Bellagio, a preview of the inaugural stage of the season XI has already been unveiled to the public. According to organizers, this will be the magnificent island of Cyprus that will host the first stage of the WPT 2012 - 2013. The choice of this destination is not a coincidence because everybody knows the beauty of this Mediterranean island and the many activities it provides to its visitors like diving sessions or golf. Moreover, the organizers negotiated with luxurious hotel establishment of the city to provide to players quality accommodation and enable them to enjoy a pleasant stay.

Regarding the tournament schedule, the WPT Merit Cyprus Classic which will take place in the Merit Grand Casino will be composed of a main event with $ 4,400 buy-in and offer a guaranteed prizepool of $ 1,000,000. It will have two first days and re-entry format will be available at this event. As usual, the director of this poker tournament, Matt Savage, will be there with his expertise and experience to ensure a smooth and successful event. Several side events will be also held throughout the festival of Cyprus. And finally, we should also mention the VIP party to be held on August 7. Until that great event, the WPT gives appointments to its fans at Bellagio from May 19, 2012 to close in beauty the tenth edition.
