Unibet Open Paris: The title for Jaroslaw Barglick
The stage in Paris of the Unibet Open has just named its champion this Sunday, May 6. Thus, it's an amateur player from Poland, Jaroslaw Barglick, who won the title of this tournament and pocketed the first prize of 140,539. Note that the 1,650 buy-in tournament in the poker room of Cercle Cadet was attended 439 participants. Many French players was logically part of this field and at the beginning of the third day of competition, they were still six qualifiers. The majority of French public was therefore more than confident. Unfortunately, they were gradually eliminated from the tournament. eremy Routier, Bruno Damien, Tarek Bouchama and Frank Tzafa were the first to join the bench of removed. They were ranked respectively in the 11th, 10th, 9th and 8th.
The Romanian player Dan Murariu was also eliminated earlier even if he was among the favorites by having accumulated the most achievements in the Unibet Open circuit as he already had five final places and a trophy at Golden Sands. Despite this ranking, he was dismissed at the 7 th place. David Lichentin-Rubintin followed him at the 6 th place. Quentin Lecompte was therefore the only French player in competition for the rest of this poker tournament and despite his determination to defend the colors of the Hexagon, he ended at the 5 th place. After his exit, it took an hour to another player to leave the game table. It was the the Dutch Giorgio La Lacona who was ranked in the second position in chips at the beginning of the day. His compatriot Daniel Pastor joined him after and grabbed the third prize. The champion, chip leader of the day begun the final duel against Lundmark, a champion of the European Poker Tour (EPT) Barcelona 2010. And the meeting ended with the victory of the Poles.
