WPT Jacksonville: Six survivors for the final table

The Jacksonville Poker Room hosted since last weekend the second stage of the WPT Jacksonville with a Main event of $ 5,000 buy-in. Many players registered since Saturday and the first two days assembled a modest field of 320 players of which only 6 reached the final table. During these four days of competition, half of the field were qualified for the Day 2 and only 55 players are selected for the next day and 36 of them will enter in the money. At the end of Day 3, 16 players received their tickets for the Day 4 to compete for the six seats of the final table of the WPT Jacksonville II.

Among the contenders for the title, there is the winner of the WPT Legends of Poker Will "The Thrill" Failla with a stack of 1,535,000 and Tony Dunst, a passionate of live poker tournaments, who has a stack of 1,315,000 chips. The final table also met players like James Calderaro (2,110,000 chips), Darren Elias (1,280,000), Daniel Buzgon (570,000) or Shawn Cunix who is the final table chip leader with 2,770,000 chips. Players like Farid Jattin, Justin Conley, David Tuthill, Tony Parille, Robert LeBeau, Peter Campo, Blake Purvis, Matt Marafioti, Amelio Amato and Byron Kaverman, the bubble boy of the final table, have been less fortunate on Day 4 . The winner of this tournament will go home with $ 400,600 plus a $ 25,500 package of the WPT World Championship while the first eliminated player will pocket $ 54,704.
