WSOPC Harrah's St. Louis: Tripp Kirk as champion
Last week, the World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOPC) Harrah's St. Louis attracted 625 participants during its $ 1,600 buy-in main event. This time the title went to a big poker enthusiast from Atlanta. It's Tripp Kirk, a young poker player of 27 years who managed to win face to many top players. With this feat, he then pocketed the first prize of $ 190,961 after having ousted Tim Killday. Note that Kirk has already won a first ring in February 2012, by emerging victorious from the $ 555 Six-Handed No-Limit Hold'em tournament of the WSOPC Harrah's Tunica. So he comes to fill his prizelist by a second gold ring and a 11th cash in the WSOP.
Among the top players who have seen their dreams to win the prestigious title disappearing is Alexandru Masek. He was looking for a fifth victory but settled for the 20th spot with a gain of $ 8,021. Jeff Wade, Everett Carlton, Michael Schneider, Ross Bybee, Joe Kuether, Easley Seneca, Scott Clements and Steven Graham were also eliminated early but have accessed to the money, which was not the case of La Sengphet, Casey Cavanaugh, Drazen Ilich, Huy Nguyen, Kurt Jewell, Sam Barnhart, Matthew Chang or Ben Smith. Regarding the members of the Top 10, Chris Conrad was awarded the third place. Charly Moore, Gannesh Letchumanan, Bradley Lipsey, Jeff Fitzgerald, James Russell, Jerry Milanos and Brian Davis respectively finished in the 4th to the 10th place.
