Manilla Millions: The title of the Asian high roller tournament won by Allan Le
Unknown in the poker world, the American Allan Le has just conquered the huge trophy of the biggest High Roller tournament in Asia, the Manila Million held at Genting's Resorts World Manila Club. Note that the event was open for HK $ 1,000,000 and was attended by 30 participants. Indeed, he managed to beat top players like John Juanda, Joe Hachem, JC Tran, Phil Ivey and Tom Dwan. So he pocketed a big bonus of HK $ 13 million, the equivalent of U.S. $ 1.6 million. Before this feat in Manila, Philippines, Allan Le has already made a good course in live poker tournaments to name his participation at the final table of a tournament of the World Series of Poker 2011.
Allan Le met Tang Devan during the final duel. With a slight advantage in chips at the beginning of the game, Allan Le didn't win easily as the two competitors occupied one by one the position of chip leader. Tang, eager to win the award has been very aggressive. But in the end, he was eliminated and settled for the second place with a prize of HK $ 8,175,000. Sun Sheng, Richard Tong and Keith Kipson were also entitled to the reward, finishing respectively 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th. As for Phil Ivey, who is somewhat discreet in the scene of international poker tournament after his problem with the online poker site Full Tilt Poker, he ended at the 10th place.
