Grand Challenge Tournament Series: Beginning of a great poker festival in Las Vegas
From today until Sunday, May 6, 2012, MGM Grand hosts a large poker festival. This is the Grand Challenge Tournament Series, a series of 18-day tournament which inaugural tournament is a No-Limit Hold'em of $ 230 buy-in. Throughout this period, Matt Savage will offer to poker enthusiasts the opportunity to enjoy their passion in a highly professional environment. The flagship event of the tournament which is probably the main event of $ 1,600 buy-in will begin on May 1st. Apart from the trophy and the first prize, the champion will be also entitled to a place in the tournament Invitational Poker Challenge hosted by MGM Grand Executive which date will be announced later. But another very interesting event which is the Chinese Poker Half High open for an entry fee of $ 1,090 which field is limited to 40 participants also await players. It will be held on April 29 at 5:00 pm.
During the Grand Challenge Tournament Series, two tournaments will be organized every day. Each category of player will find an event that suit him. There will be among others tournaments as No-Limit Hold'em, Pot-Limit Omaha, HORSE, Omaha Eight Or Better and also Stud Eight or Better. Entrance fees for these events vary between $ 150 and $ 550. A special Ladies tournament will also take place on May 4 at 12:00 am. Women can play poker no-limit hold'em by paying a buy-in of $ 230.
