ISPT: More details from May 1st
Since the beginning of the year, the field of live poker tournaments didn't stop talking about the International Stadiums Poker Tour (ISPT). Since its announcement and the creation of special dedicated website for the ISPT, many people were interested but no information on the event has been disclosed at this time except the publication of details of the largest live poker tournament ever held in the world. Indeed, the organizers of the ISPT announced that all the details on the tour will be available on May 1st, 2012.
For its inaugural edition, the ISPT will be received by the legendary Wembley Stadium at around the end of this year, and this event will be reissued each year in the most prestigious European stadiums. Thus, the Stade de France and Stade Louis II of Monaco are already in the project of Bernard Tapie Group, Laurent Tapie and Prosper Masquellier, the initiators of the International Poker Tour Stadiums. 30,000 players will be expected for this first edition with a guaranteed prize pool of 20 million. The other key attraction of this event is the live broadcast of the final table in over 28 countries and this event has a real importance in the world of live and online poker. The concept is original and the number of participants will be surely reached. The qualification is done online and the final takes place on the bench where each player will play from digital pad. The 3,000 remaining players will come down on the lawn until the last survivors of the final table are defined.
