EPT Grand Final: The Tournament of Champions in the program
It remains only a few weeks before the beginning of the grand finale of the famous poker circuit European Poker Tour under the sun of Monaco. Event that will bring together international poker stars before the world championships in Las Vegas, the EPT Grand Final in Monte Carlo promises to be an incredible festival. But what will make this tournament unique is the holding of the competition Champion of Champions. This championship of 100,000 prizepool will bring together on one event the EPT champions of the eight seasons like Jake Cody, Vicky Coren, Mike McDonald, Patrick Antonius, Liv Boeree, Roberto Romanello, Glen Dhorny, Roland de Wolfe and also Sandra Naujocks who will offer to the audience a nice show.
Six French players who are Pascal Perrault, EPT Vienna 2005 champion, Bertrand Grospellier winner at the PCA 2008, Lucien Cohen EPT Deauville champion, Jan Boubli, Arnaud Mattern, who holds the EPT Prague 2007trophy and the champion of the EPT Warsaw 2009 Christophe Benzimra will also demonstrate that they are good at playing poker and can defend the honour of France in this competition which is scheduled to take place from May 1st, 2012. In total therefore, the field of the Champion of Champions will be composed of at least 60 participants. The challenge will be interesting because the six best players in the game will receive packages allowing them to participate freely in steps of the season 9. And the first prize will be an EPT passport amounting 35,000. Last year, the American Jason Mercier was awarded the prestigious title by having ousted Galen Hall during the final duel.
