Poker770 qualifier Thomas Beer came in 2nd in 2012 Irish Open
Poker770 are pleased to inform you of the results of the 2012 Irish Open, in which Poker770 qualifier Thomas Beer came in 2nd. He lost out to Kevin Vandersmissen, who won 420,000 and the title of Irish Open Champion. Nevertheless Beer took away a formidable 225,000 from the tournament which, remarkably, was his first ever live event!
The young player, who hails from Bavaria in Germany, had little experience before this incredible event, only playing online and in local poker tournaments. He had to adapt to the new pressure of having cameras watching him but he did Poker770 proud and didnt let his lack of experience get the better of him. The 2012 Irish Open took place in Dublin, Ireland, and Beer will also join the Pro Team 770 at the MegaPokerSeries in Madrid from the 13th to 17th June. Keep watching for more action from this rising Poker770 star!
