iSeries Live: James Dempsey won the title of the first edition
Organized under the Irish Poker Open tournament in Dublin, the iSeries Live's verdict designate James Dempsey as its first champion. As a reminder, the iSeries is a live poker tournament featuring the format Sit & Go Winner Takes All available for an entrance fee of 10,000. This first edition brought together a dozen major players and competitors battled for about eight hours before the champion triumph, allowing the public to attend an event rich in action. Moreover, we must remember that the public could participate in many online betting. The British poker pro James Dempsey, who already has a few titles at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) and World Poker Tour, ended then victorious face to a very tough field and pocketed the premium of 100,000 for his nice performance.
Note that he faced Dave Ulliot during the final duel and managed to get rid of this formidable adversary. With this victory, James Dempsey now has $ 2 million in live tournament winnings. Regarding the results of other competitors, Maria Ho was entitled the third place. Carlos Mortensen, Eoghan O'Dea, Farah Zaka, Tobias Reinkemeier, Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth and Marvin Rettenmaier were ranked respectively 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th. Given the success of the event, organizers plan to set a new edition of the iSeries Live. Details about this new appointment will be announced shortly.
