EPT Super High Roller: In Monaco during the EPT Grand Final
From next April 23 to May 1st, poker enthusiasts in Europe will gather in Monaco for the European Poker Tour Grand Final. And as this appointment at the Monte Carlo Casino will mark the end of the European Poker Tour Season 8, the organizers wanted to make it big. Already, the event is the most exclusive of the Old Continent and it will be held in one of the most prestigious casino in the world, the Monte Carlo Casino but the main attraction of this appointment is the Monaco Super High Roller of 100,000 buy-in expected to gather all the best players in the world. Indeed, the Super High Roller will be one of the 37 Events planned for the EPT Grand Final. This event is also an opportunity to designate the EPT Season 8 Player of the Year. Among the contenders for this prestigious title, there is Steve O'Dwyer, Ondrej Vinklarek, Roberto Romanello, Nick Yunis and Martin Finger.
The Super High Roller will open the EPT Grand Final and now, 20 players have already signed up generating a guaranteed prizepool of 2 million. Of the 20 players who have already confirmed their participation, there is the defending champion of the EPT Grand Final (Madrid 2011) Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier and many professional players like Daniel Negreanu, Eugene Katchalov, Jason Mercier, Scott Seiver, David Sands, Dan Shak, Tony G, Artem Litvinov Evgenievich, Leon Tsoukernik, Tobias Reinkemeier, Viktor "Isildur1" Blom, Masa Kagawa, Patrik Antonius, Jason Somerville, Sorel Mizzi, Dan Smith and Jonathan Duhamel.
