Open de Poker: The first appointment in Canet on April 14 and 15, 2012
The first edition of the Open de Poker will be held in Canet on the side of the Pyrenees-Orientales, France on April 14 and 15. This is a poker event designed by Joagroupe at the initiative of their responsible of development, Elizabeth Levacher. The first Open de Poker is supposed to be an appointment that will please amateurs and professional of poker, especially since the time that organizers planned a nice program. On the weekend of April 14 and 15 therefore, the casino Joa of Canet in Roussillon expects fans of the game to take part in this tournament. The main event accessible for an entrance fee of 500 will begin on Saturday, April 14 and therefore it will be spread over two days. In order to play poker professionally, competitors will receive each 30,000 starting chips for game levels of 40 minutes.
During this main event, the organizers offer a guaranteed prize pool of more than 30,000. They hope to raise at least 70 players. Also, the champion will walk away with a prize of 10,000 at least. Furthermore, for players who live at more than 100 km from the casino, a night at the hotel will be offered.
