Foxwoods Poker Classic: A successful festival of poker
It remains only a few days before the end of the Foxwoods Poker Classic tournament series. As a reminder, this poker festival takes place in Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut since March 17 and there are many players who have already won a victory during the events held since the start of the tournament. In the inaugural step of $ 600 buy-in for example, 486 players registered to participate. At the end of the meeting, it was David Grandieri who won it, and he gained the first prize of $ 58,516. Dorian Godin also reached the top of the podium after having been victorious against a field of 333 participants in the No Limit Hold'em Deepstack of $ 400 buy-in.
During the 7-Card Stud, which brought together 87 players, it was Andrew Frizen who was entitled to the coronation and the first prize of $ 9,600. The No Limit Hold'em Deepstack of $ 300 also delivered its verdict. Of the 370 competitors, it's James Rode who was fortunate to win the title with a prize of $ 17,520. The No Limit Hold'em Bounty Deepstack of $ 230 was one of the busiest tournaments of this poker festival. Indeed, 509 participants were present at the meeting which ended in the triumph of Paul Darden Jt. This latter pocketed for his performance a prize of $ 11,086. As for the Omaha Hi-Lo of $ 400 buy-in, the title went to Ming Lee, who received for this feat a premium of $ 6,597. Note that the tournament continues with the No Limit Hold'em Six Max available for $ 500 and the $ 2,500 championship event. And on March 31, the last event which is the $ 230 No Limit Hold'em Bounty Deep Stack will take place.
