EPT Campione 2012: 325 survivors for the Day 2
The EPT Campione 2012 is a real success and is proved to be a popular circuit inside poker players, not only in Europe. This edition gathered 569 participants during the two entry days, a record in number of participants who generated a prize pool of 2,764,500. After the Day 1A that saw the domination of Davide Andreoni face to a field of 178 players, 391 players registered for Day 1B, and among them, we can mention among others the presence of Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier, Bruno "Kool Shen" Lopes, Steve O'Dwyer, Fabrice Soulier, Eugene Katchalov, Guillaume Darcourt, Matthias De Meulder, Dominik Nitsche, Kevin MacPhee, Ilan Boujenah, Arnaud Mattern and Martin Jacobsen.
At the end of the day, Nicolas Chouity takes the lead with a stack of 165,800 chips followed by Andrea Benelli (163,400), Stefano Demontis (154,700), Andrey Gulyy (138,000), Andras Kovacs (131,900), Calvin Anderson (126,500), Andrey Demidov (125,500), Jannick Wrang (121,400), Fabrice Soulier (115,700) and Bryan Piccoli (112,900). Among the other players qualified for the next Day, Jean Philippe Peyratoux, Fabrice Soulier, Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier, Antonin Tesseire, Jean-Philippe Rohr, Mikael Rotman, Arnaud Mattern and Laurent Brach. Thus, the day of this Wednesday (Day 2) will gather the 325 survivors of the Day 1A and 1B. The EPT Campione 2012 will allow 88 players to enter in the money with a minimum gain of 7,500 while the winner of this poker tournament will win 640,000.
