Nikolay Karman: The new champion of the ACF Poker Tour
On the sidelines of the World Poker Tour National Series (WPT), the ACF Poker Tour was also organized. This first step registered a real success. Indeed, they were 149 participants to have invaded the poker room of the Aviation Club de France (ACF) to contest the title of the tournament of 750 buy-in. The competition ended with a victory of the Russian player Nikolay Karman. However, many well-known players were present at the final of this tournament. There were among others Greg Ceran-Maillard, Philippe Ktorza, Suat Uyanik or Brian Benhamou. None of them managed to halt the rise of Karman to the victory.
Indeed, Ktorza was the first to leave the game and simply settled for the 9th prize of 3,090. Benhamou also joined the bench of eliminated early. He ranked 8th and received as a reward the sum of 4,125. The 7 th place is occupied by Yehoram Houri who pocketed for his performance the amount of 5,155. Two players held the fifth place of this tournament. This is Suat Uyanik and Philippe Bernanose. Both left with the sum of 6,963. Greg Maillard was the third best player of this event. The Russian faced Nicolas Cardyn during the final heads'up. He dominated the game, which earned him a great triumph crowned with a prize of 25,780. His runner-up took home the second prize of 18,565.
