WPT Paris National Series: 23 survivors on Day 2A

The edition 2012 of the WPT National Series Paris is currently the main topics of newspapers and specialized websites in France and its neighbouring countries. Having began last weekend with three qualifying days, the WPT National Series Paris, is now in its second half of Day 2 after the Day 2A which just ended on Tuesday, March 20 at the ACF. The Day 2 will receive a lot of players from everywhere with a strong presence of French poker players like Anthony Lellouche, Fabrice Soulier, Jean Paul Pasqualini, Antoine Saout, Ronan Monfort, Nicolas Delvaux, Tristan Clemencon and Michel Abecassis. The Day 2A gathered half of the 193 survivors of Day 1 with Fabrice Soulier, Michel Abecassis, Ronan Monfort, Nicolas Cardyn and also Nicolas Delvaux.

The WPT National Series Paris 2012 hosted 82 players during the Day 2A but at the end of the day, there were only 23 players vying for the suite of this poker tournament. Jean-Luc Voyer is the chip leader of the day with 448,000 chips. Just behind, there is Nicolas Cardyn having a few less chips with a stack of 446,000. Fabrice Soulier was one of the first players to have left the table. He was followed a few hands after by Philippe Ktorza, Nicolas Delvaux and Ronan Monfort. The 23 survivors of the Day 2A will be joined by the qualified of the Day 2B to be held this afternoon at the ACF. This day is an opportunity for the 111 remaining players to compete to qualify for the Day 3 and finish in the 40 paid places.
