WPT National Series: 97 survivors for the Day 2
The Aviation Club de France (ACF) hosted since Saturday, March 17 the Main Event of the WPT National Series Paris which is part of the WPT National Open Series of Poker. During the first qualifying day, 95 players paid the buy-in of 1500 + 150 but only half of the field were qualified for Day 2. After eight levels of play, Eric Fourniols finished the day as chip leader with a stack of 157,350 chips. Among the 49 survivors of the day, we can mention the presence of Ronan Monfort (123,000), Paul Pires-Trigo (110,000), Quentin Crutel (82,000), Idris Ambraisse (67,000), Aurelien Guiglini (66,000), Jean-Luc Voyer (63,000), Laurent Gauthier (60,000), ...
On the afternoon of Sunday, March 18, 97 participants gathered at the ACF for the Day 1B and after eight levels of play as during the previous day, 48 players survived. The Belgian Fabrice Somers finished in the top of the table with 188,725 chips. In the provisional top 5 of the WPT National Series at the end of the day, we find Davidi Kitai (119,000) at the second position of the chip count followed by Stephan Gerin (101,000), Frank Crudo (98,000), Nicolas Delvaux (80,000). At the sixth position, there is Steven Moreau (76,000) followed by the WSOP 2011 Champion (HORSE) Fabrice Soulier who have 69,000 chips. Philippe Ktorza (63,000), Ludovic Heinry (60,000) and Quentin Lecomte (50,000) conclude the top ten of the best players of the day of the tournament. The 97 survivors of the two qualifying days will be back on the tables of the ACF on Monday for the Day 2...
