Italian Poker Tour Nova Gorica: Ivan Gabrieli lead for the Day 2
The Italian Poker Tour (IPT) Nova Gorica started as planned on Thursday, March 1st. A drop in attendance was recorded for the main event at 2,200 buy-in because if last year's event brought together 390 players, this year, there were only 286 participants who have taken place in the poker room of Perla Casino & Hotel. The organizers gathered a total prize pool of 545,000. In the second qualifying day which took place last Friday, March 2, 191 players competed on the tables of this event held in Slovenia. Local and foreign poker players such as Dario Minieri, Luca Pagano, Martinez Massimilano or the Ukrainian Oleskii Kovalchuk were present among this field.
After the competition, a part of them, however, left the game as Luca Pagano. In the opposite, the adventure continues for Bario Minieri, Luca Moschitta, Oleskii Kovalchuck, Martin Hruby, Zimnan Ziyard and Vitali Minakov. The Italian Ivan Gabrieli is currently leading this meeting by having in his possession 134,700 chips. Two of his countrymen who are Naspetti Brando and Rosario Surace followed him at the second and third place. This day 1B chipleader must also face the best of Day 1A to name the chip leader Michele Caroli. With regard to the representatives of France, Jaouadi Sami, Sarah Herzali and Karem Laouini were in the starting field but they all have already left the game so in total, 159 players have taken the second day of competition that began on Saturday.
