WPT LA Poker Classic 2012: The qualified for the final known
After five days of hard play, the six finalists for the WPT LA Poker Classic 2012 final are known. For this tenth edition of the LA Poker Classic, 549 players were registered at the start but on the eve of the final table, it remains only six players. After six levels of play, there the elimination of twelve players was observed starting with Nick Binger and Daniel Idema. A few levels later, the world champion of poker 2005 Joe Hachem also took the way out to the 12th place. Jason Dewitt was the next on the list. Eliminated in the 11th place, he pockets a gain of $ 60,610. He was followed shortly afterwards by Sorel Mizzi (10th - $ 60,610), Stephen Chidwick (9th - $ 79,060) and David Pham (8th - $ 110,680). The bubble boy of the day is Allen Carter who fails in the 7th place but console still with a nice sum of $ 155,480.
The favorite of the final table is Sean Jazayeri who emerged as the chipleader at the end of the day with a stack of 4,380,000. David Sands has also more than 4 million chips followed by Noah Schwartz (3,835,000), Dan Kelly (2.57 million), Jason Somerville (840,000) and Jason Burt (835,000). Of the six finalists, David Sands is the player to follow in the final of the first major poker tournament of the year, judging by his recent performances at the WPT Five Diamond Classic High Roller during which he finished in the second place behind Jason Mercier. He pocketed during this event a great sum of $ 619,000.
