WPT Lucky Hearts Poker Open: Matt Juttelstad pockets the $ 268,444
The final table of the World Poker Tour Lucky Hearts Poker Open took place as agreed on Tuesday, February 14 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Florida with the coronation of Matt Juttelstad. During the four days of poker tournament, Matt Juttelstad and Gigi Gagne exchanged hand after hand the chip lead and was left to the advantage of Gigi Gagne at the entrance of the final table. Six players survived to the final table like Sharon Levin, Uri Kadosh, Matt Juttelstad, Gigi Gagne, Keith Ferrera and Todd Jacobson but ultimately, it is Juttelstad who won and pocketed the big prize of $ 268,444.
Keith Ferrera, eliminated by Juttelstad, was the first to leave the table and consoled with $ 42,185 for his sixth place. Todd Jacobson was the next, followed shortly after by Sharon Levin. Both players left with a respective gain of $ 54,649 and $ 73,344. Uri Kadosh pocketed $ 105,463 after having been eliminated in the 3rd place. It remains only two players after nine hours of play who were Matt Juttelstad and Diane "Gigi" Gagne having respectively a stack of 6.82 million and 2.3 million chips. With a stack of more than three times his opponent, Matt Juttelstad imposed his game early in the head's up forcing Gigi Gagne to settle for the second place and for a gain of $ 158,194. As for Matt Juttelstad, he pocketed $ 268,444 plus a $ 25,000 package for the WPT World Championship.
