Chicago Charity Poker Championship: The tournament of One Step Programs for March 1st
For the seventh consecutive year, One Step Programs, a charity invites poker enthusiasts to participate in its charity tournament to be held on March 1st, 2012 at River East Art Center in Chicago, Illinois. This is once again a great opportunity to play poker for a good cause because, profits at this international event will be awarded to Children's Incology Services Inc. (COSI), a department of Memorial Hospital Chicago, which supports children having cancer. According to the association One Step Programs, the goal is to allow these sick children to enjoy their childhood in the best possible conditions. The fact of having been diagnosed with a serious disease should not be an obstacle to their development. Thus, with the money raised at this poker tournament, children of COSI will be able to go on a ski vacation or participate in other funny activities.
As usual, fans of poker and many celebrities will join hands for the success of this charity tournament available for $ 275 buy-in. Those who want to contribute but who have any talent for poker can attend the event by paying an entry fee of $ 75. Note that the field will be limited to 350 participants and a bonus worth $ 20,000 and a place for the main event of the World Series of Poker 2012 will be part of the prizes.
