EFOP Diamond Championship: Kool Shen wins 100,000
After four days of intense confrontation at the Aviation Club de France, the winner of the Main Event of the European Finals of Poker 2012, the Diamond Championship is finally known. This new edition of the prestigious tournament of 5,000 buy-in has seen the coronation of Bruno Lopes, the former rapper Bruno Lopes aka Kool Shen known alongside Joey Starr with the group NTM. Kool Shen left the microphone to poker and he succeeded, judging by his recent performance at the EFOP 2012 which closed this Sunday, January 28 with the Diamond Championship. The former rapper of the NTM group won face to a field of 109 players and received a nice sum of 100,000 provided to the winner.
Thus, Kool Shen signs his first title in a major tournament after a head's up against Aubin Cazals. The latter still settled for a check of 94,760. Note that this place of runner up at the EFOP 2012 confirms the Olympic fit of Cazals because at the beginning of this month, the French has already won the WPT Dublin during the Irish Poker Championship of 750 buy- in. Alain Roy, Jean-Noel Thorel, Zimnan Ziyard, Antoine Labat, Vlad Faubert, Samspsa Hytoenen, Lionel Lesur, Marios Torbegsen, Manuel Bevand, Shannon Shorr, Philippe Ktorza and Benjamin Kraffe also shared the prize pool by positioning themselves behind the two leading men.
